CEDIC Talks seminar in Oslo/Bærum: “Remote care and hospital services at home”

  • Det Norske Veritas 1 Veritasveien Høvik, Akershus, 1363 Norway (map)

Remote care and hospital services at home

The increasing pressure on our health and care services in the coming years makes the current organization of these services unsustainable in the long term. Norweigan authorities therefore aim for more people to receive specialized healthcare services where they live, in so-called home hospitals, and expect elderly residents to remain at home for as long as possible. This means that municipalities and individuals must take greater responsibility for their own health and aging.

One solution to achieve this is to make greater use of health technology and artificial intelligence; another is to gradually or radically transform our communities and living arrangements.

But how can this be achieved in a way that fosters good collaboration and ensures good health for as many people as possible?
